You will need to be able to:
- Lead projects and coordinate a team of engineers (some of whom will be peers)
- Coordinate interaction and communicate requirements with other departments
- Provide Mechanical Design expertise to the design teams on new designs and new products
- Assist design team in building and testing prototype designs
- Provide technical expertise and design assistance for R&D projects (NPI)
- Perform Stress analysis and FEA to validate designs
- Apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes in solving mechanical problems
