PROJECT ENGINEER

Summary: Responsible for managing the entire scope of a project / contract including, but not limited to: creating and maintaining a sub-contractor database, managing communication between customer, sales and sub-contractors, job costing each job, managing profitability, coordinating inspection, permitting and verifying accuracy of billing upon completion.

Qualification/Requirements:

• Associate Degree and/or Bachelor's Degree in Business; or equivalent project management experience.
  
• Understanding of electrical theory and design.
  
• Two years of experience in working in the electrical/construction industry.
  
• Understanding of utility company inspection standards and power requirements with utility companies and meter processes.
  
• Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and requires tact and diplomacy in working with customers in accordance with the company customer service philosophy.
  
• Work requires continual attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  
• Must have Current California Drivers License and good driving record.
  
• Problem analysis and problem resolution.
  
• Travel may be required
