Description:

Global leader in the high-performance battery separators industry. Project Engineer needed who is responsible for managing and overseeing various facilities and construction projects from conception to completion. The Project Engineer will ensure timely and within-budget delivery, will work closely with internal stakeholders, external contractors, design engineering firms and vendors to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

--Ensure safety is paramount during all phases of the projects.

--Manage coordinate facilities and construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

--Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.

--Conduct site visits, monitor project progress, identify issues, implement corrective actions.

--Collaborate with stakeholders; facilities management, operations, and maintenance teams.

--Work with external contractors, vendors, consultants to ensure deliverables meet requirements.

--Develop and manage project documentation, contracts, RFIs, change orders, punch lists.

--Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

--Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.

--Identify, mitigate project risks, ensure minimal impact on timelines and budgets.

--Develop maintain relationships with stakeholders, project sponsors, vendors, community leaders.

Requirements:

--BS degree Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

--In-depth knowledge and 7+ years in facilities and construction project management.

--Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

--Project management software expertise, including scheduling and budgeting tools.

--Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

--Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.

--Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

--LEAN and continuous improvement systems (TPM certification; 5S; six sigma)

--Experience drawing, blueprints and CAD Microsoft office, Procore or PlanGrid.

--Knowledge of engineering standards (ASME, ANSI, NFPA, ISO, IEC, OSHA).

--Certification in project management (PMP, LEED AP, CCM, etc.)

--Experience with sustainable design and energy-efficient systems.

--Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

--Travel domestically and occasionally Internationally
