What You'll Do:
- Collaborate and Coordinate: Work closely with our Project Manager and various departments (accounting, purchasing, engineering, construction, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Drive Installation Success: Partner with the Purchasing Department to manage scope, price, submittals, and delivery for purchased items. Coordinate installation procedures with Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders.
- Hands-On Problem Solving: Use your design expertise to tackle operational and installation challenges onsite, ensuring job progress and quality.
- Administrative Excellence: Oversee daily administrative tasks like document control, RFIs, daily reports, POs, MOPs, submittals, procurement logs, and more.
- Keep Projects on Track: Plan the work, track labor and materials, manage deliveries, and project costs to ensure everything stays on schedule and within budget.
- Proactive Problem Resolution: Identify potential issues early and assist the Project Manager in driving solutions to completion.
- Build Strong Relationships: Develop and grow relationships with customers, prime contractors, trade partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and trade personnel. Attend job kick-off, progress, foreman, and OAC meetings. Interface with installers, suppliers, and subcontractors to provide clear direction and detailed instructions.
- Education: BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- Experience: 2-5 years of industry experience or a combination of experience and education. Open to candidates with limited experience, such as internships or a degree.
