Position Overview:
The Project Engineer will serve as the key interface between engineering and manufacturing teams, collaborating closely with project management to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and align with established plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalize derived requirements and manage entries within the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM).
  • Develop and maintain top-level documentation, including the system's as-designed and as-built Bill of Materials (BOM), encompassing all relevant components such as system test harnesses and deliverable cables.
  • Create and manage Parts Requisition Forms (PRF) for critical components, with a focus on long-lead items, as well as Manufacturing Order Forms (MOF).
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure readiness for design reviews and distribute necessary documentation ahead of meetings.
  • Promote design considerations for manufacturing, assembly, and testing (DFM, DFA, DFT) throughout project phases.
  • Address and close action items between engineering, customers, and manufacturing teams.
  • Oversee the development of system-level operating instructions, user guides, and reference manuals.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure timely release of essential project documents.
  • Maintain project progress and secure all deliverables in the designated repository system.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and procedures across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of two years of project engineering experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with technical specifications and customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Industry experience in aerospace, defense, or related sectors.
