About the Role:

Nightingale Veterinary Partners is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing Practice Launch Department. This role is integral to ensuring the successful opening of our new veterinary facilities, focusing on on-site coordination, vendor management, and overseeing facility setup. The Launch Project Coordinator plays a hands-on role in creating seamless transitions from setup to operational excellence, contributing to our mission of transforming veterinary care.

Responsibilities:
  • On-Site Coordination:
    • Arrive on-site 2-4 weeks before the anticipated launch to coordinate and oversee pre-launch activities.
    • Act as the primary on-site point of contact. Troubleshoot issues, manage vendors, and ensure smooth execution of the facility setup process.
    • Remain on-site for 2-4 weeks post-transition to support the handover process and address any operational or setup concerns.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
    • Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment and supplies.
    • Work closely with operations, clinical teams, and external partners to ensure launch readiness.
  • Site Assessments and Competitive Analysis:
    • Participate in site assessments for future projects, identifying challenges and opportunities.
    • Conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions for upcoming locations.
    • Help establish market capacity by looking into costs and wait times.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
    • In periods of launch inactivity, support clinical initiatives as a shared resource for the operations team.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or site management, preferably in a healthcare or veterinary setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and adapt in ever evolving and dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams and vendors.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (30%) and be on-site for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical tasks (e.g., assembling furniture).
  • The ability to establish professional and decisive relationships with outside vendors while remaining diplomatic.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in veterinary medicine, healthcare, or facilities management.
  • Familiarity with vendor negotiation and facility setup processes.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • $85,000 - $95,000 commensurate with experience.

NYS Pay Range

$85,000-$95,000 USD
