Description:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Project Lead/BIM Manager to join our architectural and interior design firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining Revit standards, creating project-specific templates, developing custom families, and driving the firm's BIM strategy. You will work closely with the design team to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and ensure consistency across all projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • BIM Standards Development
    • Establish and maintain firm-wide Revit standards for model structure, naming conventions, and documentation.
    • Create and update BIM Execution Plans (BEP) for projects.
    • Define best practices for workflows, ensuring model accuracy and quality control.
    • Develop protocols for clash detection, model auditing, and quality assurance.
  • Revit Templates and Content Creation
    • Develop and manage project-specific templates for architecture and interior design.
    • Create custom Revit families (furniture, fixtures, lighting, etc.) that align with project needs and design aesthetics.
    • Maintain a central library of Revit families, materials, and components.
  • Team Training and Support
    • Provide training sessions and ongoing support to the design team on Revit and BIM workflows.
    • Act as the go-to resource for troubleshooting BIM-related issues.
    • Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentor staff on advanced Revit functionalities.
  • Collaboration and Coordination
    • Work with architects, interior designers, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of BIM across disciplines.
    • Collaborate with IT to optimize software and hardware for BIM workflows.
    • Coordinate with external consultants to align project models and ensure compliance with project-specific BIM requirements.
  • Innovation and Implementation
    • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software updates to keep the firm at the forefront of BIM.
    • Explore and recommend tools or plugins that enhance efficiency (e.g., Dynamo scripts, Enscape for rendering).
    • Lead initiatives to transition legacy projects or tools into the BIM environment.


    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in Revit and BIM management.
    • Proven experience setting up and managing Revit standards, templates, and families.
    • Strong knowledge of architectural and interior design processes and workflows.
    • Familiarity with coordination and clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks, BIM 360).
    • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Experience in scripting (e.g., Dynamo) and visualization tools (e.g., Enscape, Twinmotion) is a plus.

    Preferred Skills
    • LEED accreditation or familiarity with sustainable design principles.
    • Experience with parametric design and computational workflows.
    • Knowledge of additional software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino).
