Norway Savings Bank is seeking a Project Management Officer to join our team!
In this fast-paced and multifaceted role, you'll be responsible for the ongoing development of enterprise project management, including development and implementation of methodologies, tools and resources, training and education, reporting, and monitoring.
You'll coordinate project team members and vendors, set deadlines, designate assignments, and monitor every stage of project progress.
Additionally, as the Project Management Officer, you'll lead projects of strategic importance, especially where the Information Technology Systems, Business Intelligence Team and/or Retail departments are significantly impacted.
For success in this role you must be experienced in project design and planning, collaboration and coordination with designated teams and vendors, and the delivery of results within deadlines and budget constraints.
Also, skill and experience in tracking progress, summarizing results, and communicating with management, clients, vendors and other stakeholders is required in this role.

Norway Savings Bank is seeking a Project Management Officer to join our team!

Key Responsibilities of the Position:
- Leads enterprise project management to include methodology adoption, portfolio management, resource schedules, progress tracking, required documentation, status reporting, and monitoring.
- Leads the Project Management Office and collaborates with Senior Management, Project Sponsors, Vendors and Project Managers to facilitate project prioritizing, monitoring, coordinating, reporting, and implementation of all projects.
- Maintains the Project Management Program charter and ensures compliance.
- Leads critical projects of strategic importance to the bank.
- Ability to negotiate project scope, deliverables, milestones and timeline with vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful results.
- Coordinate and lead planning sessions for project development and execution.
- Ability to set and meet project deadlines while maintaining the highest standards.
- Measure performance and progress throughout project execution.
- Strong budget management to minimize project cost overruns.
- Manage stakeholder expectations to maintain productive and engaged relationships.
- Document project activities, obstacles, costs, and results.
- Maintains a close working relationship with the ITS and BIT departments and its management.
- Ensures the Project Oversight Committee is updated on a regular basis regarding the status of all major projects.
Our Candidate Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Five to ten years' experience in project management with a proven track record of successful results
- Project Management Professional certification preferred
- Excellent written, oral and listening communication skills
- Strong technical background in industry
- Strong interpersonal skills in a team-based environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
