Description:
Title: Project Management Consultant (onsite)
Must-have skills: 3+y project management with energy/electricity/BESS projects; accounting/financial exp; PMP, electricity markets, renewables, and/or battery exp
Location: Juno Beach, FL
Requirements:
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
Experience in project management, particularly in engineering and construction of renewable energy projects (3+ years);
Strong project management, communication, financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
Experience with electricity markets, renewables, and/or battery projects is highly preferred;
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
Must:
PMP Certification;
Advanced Excel skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Daily coordination of internal and external resources to support activities from pre-construction to the point of construction for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects;
Coordinate with various stakeholders including environmental, regulatory, and land acquisition teams to incorporate all project variables;
Develop and optimize the technical scope and project variables to enhance technical and financial feasibility;
Support the development of financial models, manage financial health, and present these models for executive approval;
Competitively source, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts for critical services such as geotechnical surveys and engineering;
Present regular updates on project progress, issues, and risk mitigation strategies to management;
Ensure projects are ready to be handed over to the Construction Project Manager with a complete and executable construction plan.
