We currently have a need for an Access Control Project Manager supporting a Global Network Infrastructure environment. The Project Manager will be part of the Global Technology Infrastructure and Workplace Technology Services team, specifically within the Remote Site Operations (RSO) division. This role involves overseeing and managing various projects related to corporate technology spaces, including Main Equipment Rooms (MERs), Telecommunication Rooms (TR), and Co-Location Facilities. The Project Manager will report to the Global Operations Manager and will be responsible for driving and managing projects that require hands-on activities in technology rooms, such as installations, decommissioning, and information gathering. Additionally, the role includes upholding global operating practices and firmwide controls, including media management, asset management, access control, and room hygiene. Global Financial Services, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Project Accountability: Manage and oversee projects within assigned technology rooms, including incidents, requests, programs, and initiatives.
- New Site Build-Out: Support the build of new sites by providing input as a stakeholder in the design process and preparing spaces for operations, formally accepting them into the operations portfolio.
- Inspection and Documentation: Visit each technology space to perform inspections on control areas such as media management, asset management, access control, and room hygiene. Document issues in WTS's platform, Oversite, and remediate.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of hardware and media, including installation, ongoing support, decommissioning, storage, tracking, and destruction according to the firm's processes and policies for technology asset destruction.
- Vendor Management: Manage third-party strategic vendors for technician dispatches and work within the RSO portfolio of technology rooms, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Internal Initiatives: Plan and execute internal initiatives focused on improving services and stability.
- Status Updates: Provide regular status updates on risks, accomplishments, and upcoming activities within the region.
- Service Improvement: Drive continual service improvement both internally and externally with vendors.
- Ability to travel to remote offices in the region
Skills required:
- Minimum of 10 years of managing technology projects
- Proven track record in execution and delivery roles
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of technology room components, connectivity, architectures, and operational processes
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Excellent vendor management skills
Physical Demands:
- Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing).
- Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This includes prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen.
