Location: Hybrid (primarily based from home with some time spent at the Berkeley-based office, or at job sites around the Bay Area as needed)
Salary: $70,000-$95,000 depending on experience

Solar Commercial Project Manager
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial solar construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, universal building codes, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular project meetings to review status, challenges, and solutions.
- Prepare and manage change orders and contract negotiations as necessary.
- Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans as needed to achieve project goals.
- Provide detailed project reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of managing or building commercial solar projects successfully.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management within the solar construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and universal building codes.
- Familiarity with contracts, scheduling, and change order processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar is a plus.
