Position Overview
We are seeking an experiencedProject Managerto oversee major marine construction and dredging projects valued at $20M+. This individual will lead all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, team management, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in heavy civil marine construction, environmental dredging, and infrastructure projects along the Eastern Seaboard and Caribbean.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of large-scale marine construction, dredging, and environmental remediation projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery.
- Coordinate with federal, state, and private clients to meet contractual obligations.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
- Ensure strict compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks, adapting project strategies as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Oversee contract negotiations, cost control, and progress reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+ yearsof project management experience in large-scalemarine construction, dredging, or environmental projects.
- Experience managing projectsgreater than $20Min value.
- Willingness torelocate for long-term projectsalong the Eastern Seaboard and Caribbean.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience withfederal, state, and private client contracts.
- Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and budgeting processes.
- Strong understanding of environmental compliance, permitting, and regulatory standards.
- Engineering or construction management degree preferred but not required.
