Position Overview

We are seeking an experiencedProject Managerto oversee major marine construction and dredging projects valued at $20M+. This individual will lead all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, team management, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in heavy civil marine construction, environmental dredging, and infrastructure projects along the Eastern Seaboard and Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of large-scale marine construction, dredging, and environmental remediation projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Coordinate with federal, state, and private clients to meet contractual obligations.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure strict compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, adapting project strategies as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, cost control, and progress reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 10+ yearsof project management experience in large-scalemarine construction, dredging, or environmental projects.
  • Experience managing projectsgreater than $20Min value.
  • Willingness torelocate for long-term projectsalong the Eastern Seaboard and Caribbean.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience withfederal, state, and private client contracts.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and budgeting processes.
  • Strong understanding of environmental compliance, permitting, and regulatory standards.
  • Engineering or construction management degree preferred but not required.
