This role seeks an innovative engineer to manage and lead projects in fired heat transfer equipment for refining, petrochemical, and power markets. It involves project engineering and management, technology development, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and equipment/product design. Key Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, or civil preferred) or 10+ years in project management with fired heaters (API 560).
    • 3+ years managing projects in the refining industry.
    • Skills in customer service, time, and budget management.
    • Familiarity with construction materials, tolerances, codes, and design standards.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with heat transfer and combustion equipment design.
    • Familiarity with tools and standards (CFD, FEA, ASME, API, etc.).
    • Knowledge of structural engineering and 3D design software.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee engineering, design, customer relations, schedules, and budgets for fired heat transfer equipment projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for market-driven solutions.
  • Conduct field surveys, engineer retrofit solutions, and direct construction.
  • Prepare cost and schedule estimates and provide technical mentorship.
  • Drive value engineering, product improvement, and customer support, including field trials.
  • LOW travel expectations - below 15%
