Department Overview
The Planning & Operations ("P&O") Group drives planning, analytics, data management and technology projects while providing operational support for the Investor Partners Group ("IPG"), which has primary responsibility for all of Golub Capital's business development and client relationship management activities. The team possesses a deep understanding of IPG's needs and a strong set of unique technical expertise. The Project Management Office ("PMO") subgroup is responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards. They play a key role in supporting the business to achieve its strategic objectives, ensuring efficient project execution and establishing a properly structured project team for success.
Position Responsibilities
This role will oversee large-scale cross-departmental business transformation initiatives for IPG, with a strong focus on project management. The candidate will be the point of contact for assigned projects and will work closely with internal partners to ensure all desired business specifications are met. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, an inquisitive nature and be self-motivated.

Compensation and Benefits
For New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $235,000 to $280,000 for an Associate Director and $180,000 to $235,000 for a Vice President. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Owning the full lifecycle on assigned projects, providing periodic updates and strategic recommendations to project teams and senior management
- Planning and implementing projects aimed at enhancing organizational processes, developing new products, expanding into different regions, integrating businesses and launching new technology initiatives
- Drafting project charters and stakeholder registries, defining project goals, scope and final product
- Collaborating with other departments to establish a cohesive project team
- Developing comprehensive project plans and timelines as well as identifying resources and solutions
- Identifying tasks and involving cross-discipline team members to ensure project requirements, timelines and schedules are being adhered to
- Tracking risks and issues, ensuring that they are assigned and resolved as appropriate
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information
- Leading and managing cross-functional meetings; setting goals and agenda and sharing meeting outcomes
- Delivering effective and concise presentations to senior management regarding project / program status, resourcing and plans
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 10+ years of experience in financial services project management, preferably within asset management
- Strong project management skills; ability to gain consensus among project team and stakeholders and drive initiatives to completion effectively
- Strong understanding of private markets and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and specialists
- Business and technical acumen and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle
- Subject matter expert with Waterfall and / or Agile methodologies
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) are preferred
- Highly motivated and resourceful in a fast paced, complex environment with the ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Strong delivery mindset to drive the successful implementation of key initiatives
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and leadership skills to mobilize and motivate delivery in a co-operative and collaborative working environment across front office, technology and shared services
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to collaborate with teams across the organization to execute a project is required
- Results-oriented with a high level of personal and team accountability
- Ability to multi-task and manage time and priorities under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project, SharePoint)
