SUMMARY:
The Project Manager Commercial is the point of contact and representative for all commercial and contractual matters relating to the project internally and externally. He/she ensures the proper implementation of all commercial aspects of the project (from beginning sales proposal and quoting phases through completion of the project), maintains a commercial overview of the project, ensures a successful outcome of commercial negotiations, and coordinates critical subject matter of the contract with the functional departments (legal, accounting, tax etc.) and the Project Manager.

What you'll do
Monitoring the project from a contractual and commercial perspective.
Implementation of end-to-end contract management, financial management, project cost controlling, risk and claims management
Management and coordination of contractually compliant communication with the customer and all contractual partners
Ensuring the proper processing and implementation of the commercial contract contents
Maintaining project overview & ensuring commercial project success
Carrying out monthly project reporting
Preparation and coordination of consortium contracts and commercial management of consortiums including payment release, change management, claims management
Ensuring the accuracy of cost and pricing calculations
Managing the customer's requirements (timely invoicing etc.)
Ensuring compliance with project management standards and all requirements of the applicable Project Management Guidelines of the SMS group.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a similar field is preferred. An Associate Degree, in a business field, combined with a paralegal certification will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
*A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a role dealing with contract administration, as either a Commercial Project Manager, Contract Manager, or closely related position, is required.
Thorough understanding of contract language and the ability to negotiate, interpret, and carry out contract terms is required.
Knowledge of project controlling, accounting, finance and contract management is required.
Strong financial analysis ability and experience is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, is required.
Experience in international business is preferred.
Experience with SAP is preferred.
Strong ability to communicate and exercise effective interpersonal skills is necessary.
