Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
Assist the Project Manager in developing project scopes, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements in an industrial setting. - Resource Allocation:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, procurement, etc.) to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring smooth project execution. - Scheduling and Timeline Management:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, and communicate changes to stakeholders to keep projects on track. - Budget Management:
Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and assist in forecasting and financial reporting to ensure projects remain within budget constraints. - Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates for both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and technical documents. - Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate risk assessments to the project manager and team. - Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as a primary point of contact between project teams, contractors, and clients, ensuring effective communication across all parties. - Quality Control:
Ensure that all projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies in the industrial environment. - Continuous Improvement:
Analyze project performance to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness in future projects.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Experience with industrial equipment, processes, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Experience managing project budgets and resource planning.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
