EnSafe is accepting applications for an Environmental Remediation Engineer to join our team in the Atlanta, GA area. Successful candidates will have 5-10 years of experience in the environmental consulting field.

An Environmental Remediation Project Engineer, experienced to lead and manage a wide range of projects ranging from site investigations to regulatory compliance tasks, feasibility studies, remedial design, and/or implementation for both common and emerging (i.e., PFAS) contaminants. What You will Be Doing:
- Lead or Assist engineering and design efforts for various environmental remediation projects
- Examples of projects that you will work on include vapor intrusion assessment, mitigation, and response; in situ/ex-situ groundwater remediation design and implementation; soil remediation system design and implementation; remediation system operation, maintenance, and optimization; and various other passive and active remediation technologies.
- Execute office and field assignments to support clean-up efforts at sites ranging from small service stations and dry cleaners to large, complex industrial facilities, state and federal Superfund sites, and DoD installations
- Be a part of technical teams working across multiple offices throughout the country, problem-solving, preparing plans and specifications, and meeting with clients and subcontractors
- Support marketing/sales efforts, the project manager, and client project involvement where appropriate
What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited college in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
- 5 to10 years of experience required
- P.E. preferred
- Previous experience with vapor intrusion/mitigation, groundwater and soil remediation, and O&M
- Familiarity and/or experience with detailed design and specification preparation
- Critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand/power tools are preferred
- A driver's license or ability to obtain a driver's license
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel overnight
