The Project Manager is a crucial role in planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and within funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through peers/subordinate supervisors. Location : Hybrid with the greater Tampa Bay Area, including job site visits and engaging with customers

What you will do:

• Supports the sales function by assisting with quote preparation and proposal.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary
• Supervises the preparation of plans and specifications for the design/installation of solutions in buildings and institutions
• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies
• Prepares sub-contractor request for quotation's (RFQ) including scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of values
• Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters and sets procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications
• Examines and reviews contracts and estimates by performing risk analysis and developing risk plans
• Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required
• Establishes a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews
• Prepares sub-contractor request for quotation's (RFQ) including: scope statements; plans and milestone dates; specs; bonding requirements; and billing schedule of values
• Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
• Establishes fulfillment budget for assigned projects by revising the original estimate based on validated project scope

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Commercial HVAC industry experience
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of Project Management experience
• Professional Engineering or Project Management Certificate
