GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Manages the assigned Capital Expenditure projects in order to ensure the fulfillment of the company's contractual obligations for assigned programs. Responsible along with Senior Management for the overall outcome of the project. Serves as primary contact with the customer. Supports and manages all engineering, purchasing, scheduling, production and subcontract work in accordance with the project's contract.

Supervises buyers, schedulers/production planners, engineers, and office staff in execution of their duties relative to assigned projects.
Primary manager responsible to ensure the project executes in accordance with the project's contract. Works with the contracts administrator, estimating, engineering, procurement, and production departments in the preparation of contract change order proposals for the assigned project.
Responsible for preparing Business Case Analysis documentation and performing Return on Investment Analysis on Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
Responsible for supporting Net Present Value calculations on CAPEX projects.
Manages the project budgets and is instrumental in preparation of a project schedules and other planning/control tools together with Planning & Scheduling Department used to manage and/or execute the project.
Responds to all customer inquiries pertaining to assigned programs. Reviews, monitors, and processes all correspondence with customers. Prepares and coordinates the submission of required reports.
Ensures all departments (engineering, production, subcontractors, etc.) meet program goals.
Manages all work with subcontracting parties.
Approves 3rd party vendor costs charged to the project.
Approves all project related invoices from material vendors, subcontractors or other 3rd party vendors involved in the project.
Prepares or approves all purchases for assigned projects.
Holds weekly meetings with the project organization to review project performance against planned budget and schedule.
Maintains and produces monthly the projects Estimate at Completion (EAC) to be reviewed by management, approved and submitted to accounting for financial reporting purposes.
Ensures accurate and complete records are maintained. Reviews and submits all regular, special and final reports. Completes inventory schedules and required documentation through the completion of the contract.
