Description:
ARES is seeking a Project Manager that will Provide mid-to-senior level support to Gateway teams in Project management and risk analysis.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside customer stakeholders to identify, define, score, and mitigate risks within Gateway offices.
Provide regular risk status to Program and Project management.
Prepare risk review packages by working with Gateway office to obtain status of documented risks.
Provide Project Management tasks for technical trade studies, including work breakdown and setting a schedule and milestones for Crew system hardware providers.
Work with Project engineers to track planned and actual cost and schedule throughout the project. Assist in the development of technical trade studies.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with multiple software applications such as MS Project, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required.
Detailed understanding of Project management and schedules
Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented and ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate well, both verbally and written.
Demonstrated multi-tasking skills.
Onsite attendance for all customer meetings is expected
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Project Management
Knowledge of the Gateway Space Station (HALO) and the M2M Program
Education and Relevant Work Experience:
BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of applicable experience, or any combination of education and applicable experience.
