Job Description

AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager III to be based in Dallas, Texas.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-to-end management of individual projects and task orders with varying complexity including civil and M/E/P projects.
  • Manager tasks through project inception, design, procurement, construction, turnover, and closeout phases of the project.
  • Manage client design peer reviews and coordinate with engineering professionals to conduct a multi-discipline engineering review.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the client, and manage day-to-day project tasks on the client's behalf.
  • Manage client teams, coordinate external and internal stakeholders, manage various types of vendors including contractors, and work with the client's multiple subject matter experts.
  • Apply knowledge of applicable health and safety requirements and knowledge of local government, client, and industry codes, regulations, and standards governing design and construction projects in their respective field for successful delivery of clients' projects.
  • Change and claim management, process invoices, manage meetings and site observations, conduct constructability reviews.
  • Procurement and management of design teams, sub-consultants and contractors.
  • Review and develop contract documents with procurement staff.
  • Identify risk and create risk mitigation plans.
  • Document and report all project data.
  • Create and present project data to multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Track project status and provide management reports relative to scheduling, cost control, staffing and other contract requirement.
  • Review and inspect construction site offices.
  • Review recommended actions in resolving disputes relative to construction projects.
  • Ensure client safety standards are being met.
  • Apply engineering and management principles to develop effective solutions.
  • May telecommute.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field and 48 months of work experience in the job offered, or in a construction project management - related role.
  • In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 12 months of work experience in the job offered, or in a construction project management - related role.

Position requires:
  • Design and construction of horizontal projects.
  • Planning, executing, and overseeing construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Planning, executing, and managing construction activities for projects involving multiple consultants, contractors, or subcontractors.
  • Managing subcontractors.
  • Bluebeam Revu, Projectmates, or other PMIS.
  • Primavera P6 including scheduling logic.
  • Performing project schedule review and analyses.
  • Project controls including cost estimating, evaluating estimates versus budgets, and construction cost management. Performing project schedule review and analyses
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that construction work meets or exceeds standards. Safety reporting.
