Position Summary:

As a Project Manager IV, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, overseeing project lifecycles, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects within scope, schedule, and budget. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, communicate effectively, and employ advanced project management methodologies to drive projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to achieve project goals, fostering collaboration, communication, and a sense of ownership among team members.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and managing scope changes effectively.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identify critical path activities, and proactively manage project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Create and manage project budgets, track expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
  • Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and lead risk assessment and management efforts to minimize project disruptions.
  • Regularly communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders, adapting communication styles to suit different audiences.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed established standards and objectives.
  • Allocate resources effectively, manage team workloads, and resolve resource conflicts to maintain optimal team productivity.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and third-party partners as needed, ensuring alignment with project goals and expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, best practices, and lessons learned, and implement changes to enhance project management practices.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the project management team, fostering their professional growth and development.

Requirements:
Minimum Education:

High School or GED

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:
  • 8+ years of proven experience in a project management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and their practical application.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management, scope management, and change management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven experience in resource allocation and budget management.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.
  • Previous experience in mentoring and coaching junior project managers is a plus.

Licenses/Certifications:

PMP or other relevant project management certification.

Travel: May require occasional travel

Hours & Conditions: Typically, Monday - Friday for 8 hours/day during normal business hours

Physical Conditions: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day.
