Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to oversee the execution of multi-family residential developments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing ground-up construction projects, with a deep understanding of Type I (concrete podium/high-rise), Type III (wood over podium), and Type V (wood frame) construction methods.

This role is critical in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-family apartment projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage and oversee daily on-site operations, subcontractors, and construction teams
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and ownership to align project objectives
  • Conduct regular site walks to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to plans and specifications
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues as they arise
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices, change orders, and project documentation
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials and long-lead items
  • Manage city inspections, permitting processes, and final occupancy coordination
  • Foster a collaborative work environment with a strong focus on safety, communication, and results
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a focus on multi-family housing
  • Proven experience with Type I, III, and V construction is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract management
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience will be considered)
  • OSHA 30 certification is a plus
