Your role in action:
  • Oversee the direction and completion of all agency construction projects, from start to finish.
  • Manage project management, budgets, schedule development, preconstruction, design, operations, safety, and construction contract administration.
  • Collaborate with agency leaders and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and technical feasibility.
  • Develop construction budgets, cost estimates, and financial projections, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
  • Create and implement construction project schedules, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Track project progress against goals, approved budgets, and timelines, implementing action plans as needed.
  • Manage resources effectively, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget by coordinating labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to quality construction standards and proper construction techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, inspections, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Oversee onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with regulations and safety measures.
  • Administer construction contracts, including execution, invoicing, accounts payable, and vendor management.
  • Develop and implement effective project communication plans, providing updates to leadership teams and stakeholders through meetings and reports.

What qualifications you will need:

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a similar field.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in commercial, healthcare, or industrial construction.
  • Proven track record of leading project teams with a strong understanding of sequencing, scheduling, and planning in the construction industry.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project for effective project management.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
  • Excellent negotiation and managerial skills to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction principles and equipment capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in computer skills to support project management tasks.
