Summary
ICBA Payments is seeking a project manager to help transform a steady 40-year business supporting the nation's community banks to the future of payments. The Project Manager, Payments is responsible for assisting with the delivery of projects through all phases of the project life cycle including project planning, governance, scope, budget, issue, risk, and escalation management.

The target annual salary range for this role is currently $85,000 to $100,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. Total compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package (medical, dental and vision), 401k plan company match contribution, and an annual performance bonus.

The Project Manager, Payments is responsible for assisting with the delivery of projects through all phases of the project life cycle including project planning, governance, scope, budget, issue, risk, and escalation management.
Responsibilities
- Provides project leadership to a cross-functional team ensuring clarity regarding project objectives, approach, and plan while promoting a collaborative team environment.
- Works with senior project manager to ensure project consistency across enterprise
- Works with vendor partners, internal partners, and client banks to determine the best course of action.
- Identifies issues and provide solutions as well as direction to teams on actions needed to achieve resolutions.
- Holds team members accountable for completing their tasks and deliverables on time, on scope and with high quality.
- Accountable for the creating, actively communicating, and managing the project schedule to ensure individual project tasks are defined and tracked within the overall project plan.
- Ensures that project goals and objectives are defined and met within agreed upon time, scope, and resource requirements.
- Leads scope management and change control by identifying and tracking potential changes to scope and presenting scope changes for approvals.
- Provides timely and concise communications to the project team, leadership, and key stakeholders consistently throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Negotiates with vendor partners on refining, updating, and finalizing of all contracts, engaging with legal counsel as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience.
- Formal project management training required; PMP certification is preferred.
- Strong problem solving, analytic, and written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Professional composure, approachability, and strong interpersonal skills
- Previous experience reviewing and managing contracts
- Previous experience gathering, tracking, and managing requirements and workloads in a complex environment
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects, consistently meet established deadlines, and deliver exceptional results
- Understanding of cards, payments industry, community banking, and digital transformation preferred
