Description:

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Project Manager - in LaBella's Program Management Services Division at our Rochester, NY Office.

The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $118,000

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
  • Create detailed project plans, defining tasks, milestones, timelines, and resources needed for successful completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day project operations, managing cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Apply both Agile and traditional project management methodologies based on project requirements, team structure, and client needs.
  • Coordinate project resources, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust project timelines and priorities to maintain progress and meet deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, track spending, and ensure that the project stays within financial constraints.
  • Analyze financial performance throughout the project lifecycle and report on variances or potential risks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring transparency and visibility across all project phases.
  • Manage and resolve issues in a timely manner, adjusting project plans or resources as necessary to address challenges.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Oversee the completion of all project deliverables, ensuring that they meet contractual obligations and client satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, promoting collaboration, productivity, and a positive working environment.
  • Foster a strong team dynamic, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.
  • Work closely with team members to resolve conflicts, provide guidance, and ensure that team objectives align with project goals.

Requirements
  • 5-10 years of project management experience across various project types (including both Agile and traditional frameworks).
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Experience with requirements gathering, defining project scope, and managing deliverables.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • PMP, Scrum Master certification, or equivalent credentials preferred.
