Main Skills client looking for : M&A , Divestiture , Spin off background preferably in pharma domain SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The role of Transition Project Manager - Corporate Applications, is a liaison between IT and the respective business functions and service providers.
This position will have solid project management skills and general knowledge in subject matters pertaining to IT and various business functions, which include T&E, Tax, Treasury, Audit, and Legal.
This role is responsible for understanding the transition requirements to stand up new corporate applications for an independent company; collaborate with the functional leaders and external service providers to establish the transition plans, manage and execute the deployment activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Business Alignment - Partner with corporate leaders to finalize application transition requirements for each of the functional areas.
  • Partner with the IT support personnel and leaders to finalize transition requirements for each of the applications affected
  • Functional Knowledge - Understand the high-level process and technology requirements related to the applications in the transition scope.( Mostly ERP's SAP , JDE and other Major IT landscape applications)
  • Technical Capacity - Possess general IT infrastructure and application knowledge, including change management, system integration, database and application server architect designs.
  • Project Management - Lead multiple small-size project assignments concurrently to coordinate, plan, control and deploy business solutions; including hardware, software and database components as well as managing both internal and external resources.
  • Compliance - Possess solid understanding of IT change controls. Manage solution changes per System Development and Implementation Methodology to ensure system integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Should have a worked on handled M&A, Divestiture or Business Spin off Projects

  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related business field
    Minimum Experience: The following experiences are required:
    • 10 years Information Systems Experience within and outside of IT, with 5+ years managing corporate applications projects.
    • Structured software change control methodology and practices.
    Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Master degree in IT or related business field (business management, information systems, etc.). 5+ years of IT and business project management experience in the areas of T&E, Tax, Treasury, Audit and Legal. PMP certification preferred.
    Skills/Competencies:
    • Building Relationships - ability to build both formal and informal professional networks; solicits advice, support, sponsorship and commitment that result in smooth transitions of change and the development of mutually acceptable solutions
    • Project Management - Can manage assigned projects effectively with proven success delivering business values meeting timeline and budget objectives
    • Communication Skills - Solid communication skills, both written and oral, with very strong customer service orientation and win-win negotiation skills.
    • Quality - Make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience & judgment; can accurately estimate time, resources & costs for projects under management
    • Requirements Development & Management - ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to size up transition requirements from inception to production deployment, including scope definition, migration approach, testing, and final transition.
    • Vendor management - ability to manage SOW deliverables, control budgets, and protect project timeline.
