Our role as the nation's largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget. Role Overview
The technology project manager role oversees technical projects from inception to delivery, acting as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure project alignment and successful execution through detailed project planning and resource management. Must be adaptable to changing priorities and capable of leading complex, high-impact technology projects in a fast-paced environment, supporting PPL's self-directed care initiative.

Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive, cross-departmental project plans to ensure the successful delivery of technology products and services that support new and existing government program implementations.
- Define scope, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements.
- Track project deliverables to completion.
- Identify and address risks stemming from interdependencies within and between projects and functional areas.
- Create structure, promote collaboration, and build consensus for project success.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings with essential resources.
- Hold regular project status meetings, share updates, and deliver timely reports to stakeholders, covering project status, challenges, risks, and solutions.
- Manage project change requests and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Conduct project evaluations, assess outcomes, document lessons learned, and implement follow-up actions.
- Track internal client requests and suggest solutions to enhance team efficiency.
- Effectively engage colleagues and peers in the development and execution of strategies and work plans.
- Hold key resources accountable to the project plan.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and standards.
- Collaborate with multiple departments and their leaders to drive processes forward.
Required Skills
- Proven project management skills, including project planning, creation of the project plan, execution, monitoring, and control.
- Adaptable to waterfall, agile, and hybrid project delivery.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive the tactical details of the project to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Effective written and verbal communicator to technical and non-technical audiences
- Planning and organizing.
- Influencing, leading and delegation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, preferably with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 4+ years of experience managing complex, multi-year technology projects to delivery, including integration of SDLC into project planning.
- Experience delivering high-visibility, business-facing technology products and services.
- Prior experience in Medicaid financial management services is a benefit.
Certification:
- Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred. May substitute certification for applicable experience.
