We are on the lookout for an experienced and visionary leader to join our dynamic team to serve as the Project Manager. As a key player, you'll contribute to the dynamic and sustainable world of paper solutions, blending creativity with technology. This role will play a major part in the planning, testing, and launching of new products. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in, attention to detail, organization, leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, and communication. The primary requirement for the position is to ensure that development activities remain on schedule through alignment of resources and escalation of issues impacting timelines. Product development is a key initiative for BSP and critical to our success. The position would favor a candidate with solid process engineering or technical experience that could enhance the team's overall strengths and work capacity.

What we need from you:
  • Create & drive detailed schedule and project parameters, based on commercial requirements, available resources and budget expectations.
  • Manage resource needs to maximize potential for successful execution of projects.
  • Conduct risk analysis to reduce unforeseen obstacles and costs. Quickly identify roadblocks and work with internal and external shareholders to minimize impact on schedules
  • Document project activities, obstacles, costs, and results. Work with IT & Analytics team to develop a platform for visibility of progress.
  • Provide summarized project plan documentation to departmental managers, clients, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Measure project performance and progress throughout campaign execution.
  • Coordinate with Director of New Product Development, Sales and Production and as necessary , lead planning sessions for product development and execution.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate customer visits with the team to ensure timely trial follow through and as necessary attend reviews and trials to augment the team's availability
  • Provide process engineering assistance, analysis and research to assist mill trials.
  • Engage in continual learning to remain in touch with industry best practices, new technologies, and emerging standards.
  • Execute other role duties as assigned.


Minimum qualifications:
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout the United States and Canada (Must have a valid and unexpired passport).
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or engineering
  • Proven experience of three to five years in managing projects from inception to completion
  • Paper manufacturing experience is a strong plus.
  • PMP certification desirable
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information to all levels.
  • Ability to draw up detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
