About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to assist in the planning and management of a wide range of construction projects from start to finish!
Duties:
- Oversees each project from start to finish
- Mange vendor and client relationship
- Reads blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets
- Creates and updates project budget, schedules and cost projections
- Reviews and negotiates with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Prepares and presents project proposals
- Assist with owner contract negotiations
- Reviews and processes change orders, submittals and RFI's
- Manages project meeting minutes
- Conducts onsite meetings to collaborate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and construction crews
- Identifies and responds to project issues, minimizes potential negative impacts
- Prepares and submits project billings to clients
- Reviews and approves vendor and subcontractor payments
- Supports the quality control and punch list process
- Assists in marketing and business development
- Works collaboratively in a team environment
About You
- 3 to 5 year(s) related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, verbiage, and equipment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project; and Bluebeam
- Viewpoint and/or AIA Construction Software knowledge preferred
- Ability to make quick decisions and commit to a clear course of action
- Must have excellent phone and email etiquette and verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak in front of large groups of customers or employees
- Effectively read and interpret documents; to write routine reports and correspondence including memos, emails and other documents
