Description:
H2O Innovation is seeking a Project Manager to join our team located in Winston-Salem, NC. Our next colleague will oversee the administration, operation, and maintenance of the Water Reclamation Facility. You will also be performing short and long-range planning, plant budgets and monthly reports.

The Day-to-Day
- Plan, organize, supervise, and schedule resources to meet program and production goals;
- Analyze, develop, revise, and improve scheduling, standards, and procurement methods;
- Conduct studies, analyze data, and prepare reports of findings and recommendations;
- Formulate and administer budgets;
- Develop work-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
- Modify work assignments of employees in accordance with plant needs;
- Formulate, interpret, enforce, and apply policies and regulatory requirements controlling plant processes;
- Recommend staffing levels and equipment purchase and replacement;
- Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills;
- Develop plant specific safety programs;
- Advise and consult with direct reports on policy-level and technical aspects of assigned agenda;
- Facilitate staff meetings and attend appropriate meetings;
- Develop and implement emergency management guidelines to effectively deal with WWT problems, power outages, flooding, and other factors that could impact public; health, safety and or environmental quality;
- Provide on-call coverage for plant alarms and upsets with remote after-hours response to correct problems;
- Coordinate plant safety and security needs;
- Assist with the coordination of Capital Improvement Projects to upgrade and/or expand plant facilities;
- Conduct specialized tours for visitors and VIPs of our unique plant;
- Maintain excellent working relationships with client and host site personnel;
- Able to strictly adhere to all client and host directives and requirements.
The Skills We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field (preferred);
- 5+ years supervising operations or maintenance at a wastewater treatment plant;
- Strong background in maintaining electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment, sensors, and industrial controls;
- Preferred - North Carolina Wastewater Class 3 or higher license;
- Proficient with computer and office equipment;
- Strong verbal and written skills, including report writing and customer service;
- Experience with budgeting, accounting, and scheduling work;
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record;
- Primarily in plant/office (85%) with occasional field inspections (10%) and meetings (5%);
- Limited travel required.
