- Manage building envelope projects from conceptual design through construction completion.
- Conduct site investigations and building assessments of existing structures.
- Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams for seamless project delivery.
- Oversee construction contract administration, including submittal reviews and field inspections.
- Supervise and mentor EITs and Technologists, supporting their technical growth.
- Ensure project financial performance, technical quality, scheduling, and client management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or Architecture (Master's degree an asset).
- 5+ years' experience in building science consulting.
- 2+ years' project management experience.
- Significant field experience addressing site conditions and working within the construction process.
- P.Eng. registration with EGBC or Architect registration with AIBC preferred.
- Building Enclosure Rehabilitation Expertise - Deep knowledge of faade and envelope systems.
- Project Leadership - Ability to lead and mentor technical teams while managing multiple priorities.
- Problem-Solving & Investigative Aptitude - Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose building performance issues.
- Collaboration & Teamwork - Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Communication Skills - Clear and professional communication, including technical writing and presentations.
- Work Ethic & Responsibility - Eager to take initiative, lead projects, and deliver high-quality results.
- Technical Proficiency - Ability to interpret data, drawings, and specifications to support project design and construction.
