Project Manager

Salamander Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of projects across our oilfield service operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, customers, and vendors to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to the highest operational standards. The Project Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

This position requires on-site presence.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead project execution from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and company objectives.
• Function as the primary customer interface, managing project communications, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Oversee project kickoff, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and company policies in all project activities.
• Identify and mitigate changes to project scope via Management of Change (MOCs).
• Provide updates and project forecasts for completion of project, cash milestones, margin, on-time delivery, and resources.
• Manage customer purchase orders for assigned projects, proactively monitoring, and addressing variation orders in line with contractual obligations.
• Drive project execution to meet or exceed time, budget, and QHSE targets by identifying and mitigating risks, leveraging opportunities, and handling changes efficiently.
• Provide project management input during the quotation process, including schedules and budget estimates.
• Deliver project outcomes that align with and surpass Profit & Loss expectations.
• Review project performance post-completion, sharing insights on execution strategies, productivity, potential improvements, and environmental impact.
• Administer and manage orders in the D365 system, ensuring comprehensive order lifecycle control (Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes).
• Perform complex, varied tasks independently, ensuring high-quality outcomes without direct supervision.
• Anticipate potential issues, implement appropriate procedures, and maintain operational control to prevent delays, rework, and high-risk situations.
• Travel as required to field locations or service facilities for customer interactions, project management, and on-site support.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management or equivalent with 8+ years of project management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Industry recognized project management qualification (preferred).
• Project Management experience in oilfield services, preferably in well completions, equipment deployment or field operations.
• Knowledge of oilfield operations, wellsite execution, and service delivery is a plus.
• Strong knowledge in surface & subsea equipment engineering and procedures.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Project or any other Project Management software.
• Knowledge in D365 is preferred.
