Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.

- The Project Manager is responsible for many aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).
- Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
- This specific project will involve the migration of a ITSM Platform from an external vendor to an internal Platform.
- Project work would include coordination and delivery of data connections between numerous 3rd parties and the new platform, coordinating delivery of ITSM capabilities to the new Platform, and assisting in updating workflows and process to ITSM best practices.
- Ideally the candidate has managed ITSM builds or migration projects in the past.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and facilitate customer acceptance
- Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plan, in order to align the stakeholders and team members
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders
- Manage execution of the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals
- Identify key project team members by defining roles and responsibilities to create a project organization structure in order to develop the communication plan
- Implement the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project
- May be responsible for managing/ recording detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques (e.g., planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter
- Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale
- Communicates information and ideas in writing so others will understand

Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience required
- 7+ years of project management experience
- 3-5 years IT experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build high performing teams
- Advanced degree desired but not required
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Agile and Project Management process and tools
- Experience communicating effectively with mid-level to senior management
- Experience with software methodology development processes
- Ability to create presentations and write business cases under direct involvement by a more senior project or program manager
- Ability to work under tight deadlines managing a few priorities
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of work situations
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Knowledge of MS Project or PPM tools
