ECS is seeking a Project Manager to support our DHS client. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building a high performing team, creating trusting customer relationships, and delivering real business/technology solutions for a growing team. Strong candidates will have a desire to drive multiple projects simultaneously that take advantage of modern approaches to technology, business delivery, and the use of data. The ideal candidate will work with both internal and external stakeholders to help elicit, refine, document, validate, and implement requirements for cyber strategy related projects, to help inform and advise risk reduction. The ideal candidate will also work well independently, with the solution team, and as part of a broader team to help coordinate the delivery of consulting services, including coordination with Federal stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:
- Fulfill basic project management duties to ensure the successful completion of short-term engagements, to include scope, schedule, communications management, risk management, roadmaps, resource assignments, etc.
- Manage multiple overlapping projects and ensure priorities are clear with delivery team and customer
- Facilitate day-to-day customer engagement and communications; seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, develop and deepen long-lasting client relationships; provide thought leadership and strategic guidance
- Work with customers to derive requirements for use cases/scenarios and recognize opportunities for improvement for business processes and determine ways to problem solve, analyze, and develop solutions or strategies based on customer interviews and data
- Lead and facilitate discussions across all levels of the organization to identify, design, and drive strategic and impactful advancement of our client's cyber capabilities and effectiveness
- Identify interdependencies between efforts within the organization, recognize gaps and propose remediation recommendations
- Assist in the prioritization of new or refined requirements, capabilities, and guidance that strengthen agencies cybersecurity operations
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to collect and analyze data and present results and recommendations; utilize data to enable deeper insights into organization and solutions
- Produce briefings and presentations for all levels of the organization
- Work across multiple domains and stakeholders to drive strategies & achieve objectives
- Act as an advocate for the team and customer; resolve blockers and build consensus; apply Agile experience/knowledge of key agile techniques include Scrum/Kanban for team delivery
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must hold or be able to obtain Public Trust Suitability and TS/SCI.
- Bachelor's degree with over 7 yrs. of relevant experience.
- Expert level communication skills with both technical and non-technical personnel, both oral and written
- Must be able to work well both in a team environment and independently.
- Highly organized and have exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrates strategic thinking and leadership with strong relationship management.
- Demonstrates ability to interact comfortably with Fed customer, Delivery Lead, and team on a day-to-day basis and have excellent business presentation skills.
- Balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly.
- Ability to lead teams through multiple delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
- Experience managing multiple mid-sized strategic technical projects across multiple programs/portfolios.
- Knowledge of data, communication and/or knowledge management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, etc.
