The Project Manager will help drive continuous improvement in the management and operations of the unit's analytics business. The team engages with technology and service teams as a strategic partner in communications, project planning, budgeting and product governance/ best practice. Collaborating across the business functions and corporate groups, the team ensures the success of the Analytics products from concept (business case) through launch and wide scale deployment. The team is responsible for providing business unit updates to senior and executive management.

This role provides an opportunity for a Project Manager/Business Analyst with excellent communication and leadership skills to learn what it takes to run a business unit. The selected candidate will be expected to build relationships and collaborate with both business stakeholders and technology partners at all levels of the organization and simultaneously lead multiple projects to ensure the long term success of the products sophisticated analytics and services.

Specific duties include:
  • Actively engages and executes assignments for projects related to the business unit's regulatory requirements, corporate policy, and product best practices.
  • Helping in the creation of materials for senior management that keeps them informed of progress being made in the business unit and key accomplishments.
  • Collect data and metrics from BU Managers that will be used to promote transparency to progress being made against key client deliverables and BU goals, such as product development, product adoption, client service performance, staff growth, etc.
  • Candidate will be expected to be a self-starter and able to run/ manage projects.
  • Financial Services background and solid understanding of Risk and Regulatory domain is preferable.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project Management/Business Analyst role in financial services.
  • Must display exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Exhibits strong relationship management discipline with demonstrated ability to work across business lines.
  • Displays a proven ability to multi-task to meet time-driven goals.
  • Strong team leadership and project management skills considered a plus.
  • Self-motivated with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance or related fields. MBA a plus.
