Position Overview

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and management of construction projects, specifically focusing on educational facilities such as schools. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for educational construction projects
  • Oversee the development and implementation of project plans and schedules
  • Manage the project's budget and financial resources
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Foster relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Conduct performance evaluations of construction staff and subcontractors
  • Lead initiatives for project improvement and quality assurance
  • Advocate for the needs of the project at the local, state, and national levels

Qualifications
  • Project Management experience with a focus on educational projects (schools) is a must.
  • Strong understanding of construction practices and policies, particularly in educational settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in budget management and strategic planning
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders
