Brief Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the product development cycle, from conceptualization to launch. This role ensures clear communication between departments, tracks progress and ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager plays a critical role in connecting market research data to actionable insights, maintaining team organization, and facilitating product rollouts effectively.
Essential Functions:
1. Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met.
2. Serve as the primary point of communication between design, purchasing, and marketing teams.
3. Coordinate product data (e.g., pricing, sizes, order quantities) with the purchasing team.
4. Facilitate seamless product rollouts by collaborating with marketing on messaging and launch plans.
5. Maintain organizational systems to track team progress.
6. Assist in gathering and organizing competitor and market research data for effective planning.
7. Participate in quarterly feedback sessions with regional managers and sales teams.
8. Oversee cross-departmental collaboration to ensure timely execution of product launches.
9. Monitor industry trends and integrate relevant insights into project strategies.
10. All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Required:
1. Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Proven experience in project management, preferably in product design or related industries.
3. Proficiency in project management tools like Monday.com, Trello, or Asana.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
5. Knowledge of market research methods and data interpretation.
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
8. Ability to make sound, independent judgments
9. Take initiative to plan, organize, and complete assignments independently
10. Initiate, maintain, and complete both short term and long-term projects simultaneously
11. Able to work independently and work effectively as a member of a team
12. Able to handle regular interruptions to serve the needs of others while maintaining focus on multiple priorities and short- and long-term deadlines
13. Able to finish projects both quickly and accurately
14. Able to proactively seek out ways to improve upon existing methodologies
15. Maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
Preferred:
1. Experience with Vendor Management System or similar software is preferred
2. Tile/stone or interior design experience
