Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of assigned engineering and capital projects
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects
- Supervise contractors and ensure work meets specifications, safety, and quality standards
- Conduct technical reviews, prepare project reports, and present to leadership
- Manage bid processes, analyze vendor proposals, and drive cost-effective decisions
- Maintain compliance with building codes, USDA/FDA regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols
- Partner cross-functionally with Plant Management, Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams
- Train staff on new equipment, maintenance protocols, and operational safety
- Stay current on trends and technology in food manufacturing and facility design
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience managing complex projects in a manufacturing setting
- Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of building codes, equipment layout, and construction methods
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Understanding of environmental compliance, safety standards, and regulatory reporting
