Position Overview
CARIAN is seeking a Project Manager with strong financial reporting and billing experience to support a utility program focused on customer billing and scope tracking. This role blends project delivery and financial oversight, ideal for someone with project management or senior project controls experience who thrives in a cross-functional, client-facing environment. PMP certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Track and manage project scope elements tied to customer billing and financial reporting
  • Monitor costs, prepare forecasts, and ensure budget alignment across key workstreams
  • Develop, validate, and present financial reports using SAP and Ariba systems
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing aligned with contractual and project milestones
  • Analyze cost trends and provide actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Support internal audits and resolve billing-related inquiries with thorough documentation
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure clarity in scope, funding, and billing activities


Qualifications
  • PMP certification strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, financial reporting, or project controls
  • Proven experience supporting capital or infrastructure programs, preferably in the utility sector
  • Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in reporting and stakeholder updates
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines
