Position Overview
The Project Manager, in collaboration with the Superintendent, oversees the schedule, budget, quality, safety, and relationships of a construction project. This role involves planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process to effectively manage risks. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, negotiating contracts, setting client expectations, resolving disputes, estimating costs, procuring materials, and producing schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large, complex construction projects, including new builds and renovations, is essential. Experience in mixed-use and/or office construction is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction process, budgeting, accounting, and procurement is necessary to effectively manage projects.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and scheduling software such as Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO, or equivalent, is required.
  • LEED Accreditation is preferred.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
