Cambridge Associates (C|A) has been at the forefront of innovative investment portfolio strategies for over 40 years. Headquartered in the financial district of Boston, we serve clients from 10 offices across the US and around the world. We are currently seeking a Director, Project Manager for our newly created Corporate Project Management Office (PMO). This role will support the PMO by managing projects, driving operational improvements, and ensuring successful delivery of initiatives aligned with the firm's strategic objectives.

Primary Duties
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement project plans, define objectives and key results (OKRs), monitor performance against metrics, and provide regular updates.
- Project Management: Lead assigned projects in collaboration with cross-departmental teams, ensuring alignment with OKRs and timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, informed decision-making, and expectation alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Problem Solving: Collaborate with project teams to identify, analyze, and resolve challenges effectively, offering expert guidance and fostering innovative solutions.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, partnering with peer project managers to address interdependencies across initiatives.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, seeking feedback and building trust to ensure collaboration and alignment across the organization.
- Efficiency Enhancements: Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance CA's capabilities by identifying improvement opportunities, leveraging technology and modern practices, and driving initiatives to increase efficiency.
- Agile Delivery: Utilize agile methodologies to execute projects, emphasizing continuous improvement to maximize outcomes and efficiency.
- Budget Management: Track project budgets and resource allocation, identifying and addressing areas requiring additional support or adjustments.
Requirements
- BA/BS required, MBA a plus.
- 5 years of project management experience within financial services, ideally within asset or wealth management.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Asana, JIRA, and Visio.
- Ability to maintain accuracy while focusing on broader strategic objectives.
- Proven ability to leverage data analysis for decision-making and optimizing project outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility through communication, actions, and presence.
- Experience with technology and data project implementations, including an understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities under deadline pressure.
- Highest standards of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
