This strategic initiative will propel our company from its current operational framework to a more advanced and integrated system, ensuring operational excellence and enhanced efficiency.

What You'll Do:

Project Planning and Execution

• Craft detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Design a project management calendar to hit goals and objectives.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.

Stakeholder Management

• Be the go-to person between business and technology teams.
• Plan, direct, and communicate project details, progress, risks, and changes.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met.
• Facilitate change requests, keeping everyone informed about impacts on schedule and budget.

Risk and Issue Management

• Negotiate, make decisions, and resolve problems like a pro.
• Identify project risks and develop smart mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and manage project issues for timely resolution.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure adherence to frameworks and maintain top-notch documentation.
• Implement best practices for high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct regular project reviews and audits.

Budget and Resource Management

• Manage project budgets for cost-effective resource use.
• Allocate and manage project resources efficiently.
• Oversee planning, requirements, timeliness, cost, and quality.

Reporting and Documentation

• Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Prepare status reports, presentation materials, and user manuals.

Process Improvement

• Continuously seek and implement process improvements.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business or Information Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years' personal lines property experience in product, actuarial, underwriting, finance, claims, or operations desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience to include managing complex projects, preferably within the P&C insurance sector.
• Experience in business process mapping preferred.
• Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
• Experience with claims management systems is beneficial.
• CPCU or testing toward CPCU preferred.
• Competency with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, is a must.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
• Scrum Master certification is a plus.
• Six Sigma certification (Green belt or higher) is preferred.
