Project Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 06 Months plus Contract
Rate: DOE
US Citizen, GC holders, GC-EAD Preferred
Required :
Own the Release Management lifecycle; which includes scheduling, and coordinating releases to various platforms and the management of releases across the enterprise
Lead and co-ordinate the release activities through the implementation phase (i.e. including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists)
Build & maintain strong and effective relationships with portfolio and development teams
Identify, analyze, respond to, track and manage release related risks and issues to ensure uninterrupted customer service
Participate in application project status meetings and participate in enterprise CAB meetings
Partner with development project managers to ensure resources for a given release match the effort
Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
Manage the impact that a given change or bundle of changes entering the production environment has on associated stakeholders
Work collaboratively with all participants in agile software development projects and support developers and testers as they set up their development and test environments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
6 - 8 years of Project/ program management
Experience in a change management environment
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Experience in an Agile/DevOps Environment
