Description:

Moss Cape is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. The Project Scheduler will work closely with the lead Project Coordinator, Technical Program Manager and team members to ensure that all project timelines are adhered to and that resources are allocated effectively.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • As a Project Scheduler you will develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using specific software, e.g., Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, etc.
  • Collaborate with team leads to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and identify any potential delays or issues, suggesting corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, communicating changes and impacts to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and distribute regular status reports to project teams and management.
  • Assist in the identification of risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines.
  • Ensure all scheduling activities adhere to company standards and best practices.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide schedule updates and insights.
  • Support the development of projects by providing input related to scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with team members and external partners to organize project timetables. It is among the crucial functions of a project scheduler to work together with team members to arrange project schedules.
  • Tight collaboration with project managers, technical experts, to accomplish project specifications and deadlines.

Desired qualifications and Experience:
  • PMP Certification- Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI)

Qualifications:
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in project management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project scheduling, or project management

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
  • Typically requires a background in project management, relevant certifications, and industry-specific knowledge.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
