Job Overview:

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated master schedules for large, complex nuclear EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, including nuclear outage planning and execution. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, EPC partners, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project execution, compliance with NRC Appendix B, and alignment with customer standards. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Primavera P6, Oracle, and project control methodologies within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with OEM teams, EPC partners, and leadership to create, maintain, and optimize Primavera P6 project schedules.
  • Support outage planning and execution through critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, and milestone tracking.
  • Facilitate WBS workshops and integrate EPC and OEM deliverables into a comprehensive IMS (Integrated Master Schedule).
  • Maintain schedule updates, track progress, incorporate changes, and manage re-baselining activities as required.
  • Provide status reports, SPI metrics, and variance analysis aligned with customer requirements.
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling and controls.


Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise with Primavera P6 and Oracle-based project management platforms.
  • Strong background in outage planning, EPC project scheduling, and schedule risk analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as NRC 10CFR 50 Appendix B.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with EPC and customer teams.

Key Skills Needed:

  • Critical Path Method (CPM) and Monte Carlo risk analysis
  • WBS & schedule governance workshops
  • Schedule recovery planning
  • Familiarity with nuclear outage environments or EPC

Estimated Years of Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of project scheduling experience, preferably within nuclear, EPC, or large capital projects.

Other Criteria for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field required.
  • Primavera P6 Certification preferred.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with NRC 10CFR 50 Appendix B requirements.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex schedules.


Project Scheduler - Nuclear EPC & Outage Projects

Location: Greenville, SC or Remote in USA for qualified candidates - travel to customer sites as needed

Travel: 5 to 20%
