JOB SUMMARYThe Project Superintendent is responsible for establishing and updating work packages according to project standards and tender requirements. Managing the technical, budgetary, and planning aspects of the work packages. Coordinating with vendors, class, technical services, and rig operations for engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, testing, documentation, and handover of equipment or services. Ensuring compliance with Seadrill's maintenance system, key principles, and business conduct

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Main Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for establishing Work Package according to project standard, in a clear and detailed manner that can be used in the invitation to tender for vendors. and keep it updated throughout the project period.
- Technical responsibility for the work package(s) with regard to change control /site surveys / engineering / design / interface control / planning / pre-fabrication / installation / mechanical completion / commissioning / acceptance test / handover to operations / final documentation / invoice control.
- Estimation and budget responsibility for the work package(s).
- Ensure work packs are updated through project continually monitoring progress, and updating the project manager and planner.
- Develop PO request forms, detailing engineering specifications and class requirements for the procurement of equipment / spare parts / services (prepare IFS Work Orders and Purchase Requests).
- Work directly with the Vendors and Seadrill Technical Services to ensure these tasks are completed and the rig is delivered without any outstandings from Class or deviations from Corporate directives.
- Ensuring that all commissioning and endurance testing procedures are accurate and fit for purpose, developing proper commissioning and endurance procedures if not provided by vendor, reeving with the Seadrill Technical Services department.
- Ensuring the Document Controller has received their work packs and help with the verification that the documentation packages are complete.
- Handover of equipment/ machinery/ structure/ final documentation to the relevant area responsible on the rig.
- Liaise with relevant personnel in the rig operations team onshore and onboard the rig.
- Ensure that the maintenance system, equipment hierarchy and maintenance history is updated, and that maintenance instructions and spare part information is entered into the Seadrill Maintenance system.
- Co-ordinate with class or other 3rd party involvement - as the case may be.
- Ensure that the work process and the end result are documented according to requirements. Liaise with the rig operations engineer with regard to reviewing and accepting final documentation.
- Managing drawings, technical modifications and design with technical services and/or external vendors.
- As the case may be - organise and document vendor following-up, in particular in case of reimbursable jobs (including signing of timesheets on daily basis).
- Organize and monitor installation work, Attend FATs, receiving inspection, etc and prepare acceptance documentation for the WP (MC and Comm.)
- Verify correctness of invoices from vendors.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, Project Planner and rest of Project Team for assisting in making necessary schedules, budgets and determination of critical paths.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Project Engineering and Construction experience or other experience deemed to be equivalent to the above
- Good administrative skills and able to work systematically and independently
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written in English
- Knowledge to relevant regulations and Class rules.
- Fully acquainted with management systems and asset management systems, similar to TMS/IFS/Synergy.
Desired
- Advanced level of knowledge relating to typical equipment and systems onboard offshore drilling rigs
- Must have good managerial/administrative skills to develop and execute above role.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Tools and Apps, particularly Excel, Power Apps, Power Query
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
- Discipline engineer, qualified or with equivalent experience
- Experience from the offshore drilling industry, with experience in Projects, and experience from Rig Owner Company, Class Society or Shipyard.
