Projets manager/ Chargé(e) projets

We are currently looking for a project manager to join our dynamic Ottawa team.

As part of your duties, your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, organize, lead and control assigned construction projects
• Participate in project planning and monitoring meetings
• Represent Atwill-Morin Structurewith the client and professionals (participate in the kick-off meeting, site meetings, etc.)
• Plan the needs for labour, materials, equipment and tools
• Build and follow the project timeline
• Follow up on shop drawings and manage changes
• Determine and obtain the permits required for the execution of the project
• Implement and supervise the prevention program on assigned sites
• Coordinate and manage prevention in occupational health and safety
• Prepare, have approved and transmit the required contractual documents and correspondence
• Notify the client of any additional work and notify subcontractors of any chargebacks
• Produce and distribute site guidelines
• Track costs and additional work
• Provide the accounting team the information about the progress of the project and ensure the preparation of invoicing
• Supervise the entire project and make corrections if necessary
• Ensure that the contract is regularly updated to reflect changes
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Manage execution of non-compliance reports
• Manage the classification of project documentation
• Manage rentals of accessories on construction sites such as waste container, "jig," etc.

To fulfill these duties properly, you should have the following skills :

Technical training in civil engineering, architecture, or other field related to construction.

Ability to read plans and specifications.

Knowledge of the construction industry.

Good written and oral communication skills in French and English

Ease with the Microsoft Office suite and Ms Project

Have taken the OHS course on construction sites

Nous sommes prsentement la recherche d'un gestionnaire de projets pour rejoindre notre quipe dynamique, base Ottawa.

Ce poste n'est malheureusement pas offert l'international.

Dans le cadre de vos fonctions, vous serez amen :

• Planifier, organiser, diriger et contrler les projets de construction assigns
• Participer aux runions internes de planification et de suivi des projets
• Reprsenter Atwill-Morin Structure auprs du client et des professionnels (participation la runion de lancement, aux runions de chantier, etc.)
• Planifier les besoins en main-d'uvre, matriaux, quipements et outils
• Produire et mettre jour le calendrier du projet
• Faire le suivi des dessins d'atelier et la gestion des avis de changement
• Dterminer et obtenir les permis requis pour la ralisation du projet
• Mettre en uvre et superviser le programme de prvention sur les sites assigns
• Coordonner et grer la prvention en sant et scurit au travail
• Prparer, faire approuver et transmettre les documents contractuels et la correspondance ncessaires la gestion du projet
• Informer le client de tout travail supplmentaire et informer les sous-traitants de toute rtro facturation
• Produire et diffuser les directives du site
• Faire le suivi des couts et des travaux supplmentaires
• Fournir la comptabilit les informations sur l'avancement du projet et assurer la prparation de la facturation
• Superviser l'ensemble du projet et apporter les corrections si ncessaire
• Vrifier que toutes les modifications apportes au contrat sont mises jour rgulirement
• Assurer le respect de toutes les lois et rglementations applicables
• Grer les rapports de non-conformit d'excution
• Grer le classement de la documentation du projet
• Grer les locations d'accessoires sur les chantiers tels que conteneur dchets, " gabarit ", etc.

Pour pouvoir exercer correctement vos fonctions, vous devez avoir les comptences ci-dessous :

• tre titulaire d'une formation technique en gnie civil, en architecture ou dans un autre domaine li la construction
• tre en mesure de lire des plans et devis
• Avoir des connaissances en btiment
• Avoir une bonne expertise en communication crite et orale, en franais et en anglais
• Maitriser la suite Microsoft Office et Ms Project
• Avoir suivi le cours SST sur les chantiers de construction

Par ailleurs, il faut prciser qu'en plus de ces prrequis, notre entreprise recherche un charg de projets stimul par son mtier avec une bonne capacit travailler en quipe, faisant preuve de proactivit, d'organisation et de professionnalisme.
