A kind and lovely private family based in Miami, FL, is seeking an experienced and proactive Property | House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their homes and ensure all properties are well-maintained and efficiently run. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independently identifying and addressing issues before they arise. They should be trustworthy and loyal, valuing discretion and confidentiality in their role.
The candidate should have strong property management experience, with a solid understanding of home systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, as well as the ability to manage contractors and vendors effectively. Attention to detail in maintaining and managing household interiors is essential. Flexibility and a service-oriented mindset are key, as the candidate will be expected to assist with service tasks during guest visits when needed.
Please note: this role will be based in Miami but requires occasional travel to the family's additional residences in Greenwich, CT, and Aspen, CO. Local candidates are strongly preferred as the client will not cover relocation costs.

Key Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm with flexibility to work evenings/weekends when requested.
- Live-in: This can be provided in Miami for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Property Management:
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of all properties to assess and address maintenance needs proactively.
- Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and overall property infrastructure.
- Review and manage contractor estimates, ensuring quality work and fair pricing.
- Build relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring timely and efficient work.
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned, well-maintained, and fueled regularly.
- Household Management:
- Supervise housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Develop and implement systems to improve household efficiency.
- Monitor household supplies and inventories, restocking as necessary.
- Travel Coordination:
- Travel to Greenwich and Aspen as needed to prepare homes for the family's arrival.
- Conduct property inspections, coordinate repairs, and ensure all systems are functioning properly.
- Communicate with other team members, including property management companies and housekeeping teams, to ensure the family's needs are met.
- Be available to travel with the family if requested, though this will not always be required.
- Guest Services:
- Assist with service needs when the family hosts guests, ensuring a seamless experience.
Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years of experience as an Property | House Manager or similar role.
- Candidates must be based in Miami.
- Strong English language skills are required.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Self-starter and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience in managing budgets and expense control.
- Exceptionally process and checklist-oriented.
- Comfortable with managing through conflict and offering solutions.
- Proactive thought process and highly approachable.
- Familiarity with property maintenance, repair, and an eye for detail.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- Willingness to travel to the family's other properties.
Compensation:
- $120,000++ per year | Depending on experience
