Elimini are developing a multi-billion, BioenergyCarbon Capture & Storage (BECCS) which aims to deliver carbon removals atmegaton scale.

As theProspecting Director, you'll be responsible for managing site identificationand other project prospecting and development activities of large scale,complex Biomass Energy Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) projects.
The rolewill focus on leading and coordinating the necessary workstreams to identifyand screen greenfield and brownfield sites, colocation and project acquisitionopportunities and other deal structures to populate and maintain the pipelineof BECCS projects.
Each site willhave various activities ongoing at different paces depending on the maturity ofsite development, which will necessitate developing networks and regular followups with local and state agencies, such as permitting authorities, environmentalagencies, and counterparties such as landowners.
About therole
As ProspectingDirector, you will be required to support BECCS project development acrossNorth America from site identification to the "development ready" stage.
About you
You'll hold a Bachelor'sdegree in a relevant subject and have a minimum of seven (7) years' experiencecontributing to and leading project development for utility-scale renewableprojects in the US.
You'll have a minimum often (10) years' professional experience working within the renewable energy orpower generation sectors.
Essential to this role, you'll have solidknowledge of ArcGIS, Power BI and all Microsoft applications as well as theability to identify and gather information sources, interpret data, and applytechnical knowledge to support project development activities.
Communication is key and you'll have highlydeveloped communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicateat all levels across the organization.

About therole

- Lead the site screening, selection and feasibility assessment process.
- Conduct land, market, regulatory, and other project-related research.
- Oversee land acquisition efforts by managing the purchase or lease negotiation process with landowners and serving as the primary contact with participating landowners.
- Coordinate the prospecting phase environmental and permitting activities at the local, state, and federal levels.
Coordinate workstreams to analyze and prioritize any available state or local property tax incentives. - Engage and oversee third party consultants to perform site characterization studies, energy assessments, surveys, and any environmental studies necessary to ensure site-specific compliance with regulatory and financing requirements.
- You'll be the "face of the project" by maintaining relationships with landowners and local leaders, performing community outreach and other stakeholder management activities.
